tho your point about playcallign tendencies are very true.

"Groupings" allows positive personnel match-ups that may not be possible without specific groupings.

IE In a 4 WR set does the defense put in a CB? Safety? or LB???.... to cover that 4th WR??
IF that WR has good blocking skills -as ours do - and they run TGII out of 4WRs bunched formations...TGII would now be running against 1 LB at most and a 6 lighter DBs...I'd take that matchup.

And when the defense swaps a Safety or LB in for that 4WR to cover the success in the run game...we now throw on them...
and force them to cover our WR with a S or LB.

I'm just saying that groupings along with play tendencies can go a long way with keeping a defense on it's heels...
and keeping the advantage with the offense to dictate the terms of the game!

We just see this one a bit different, I suspect.
