I would not be surprised if the Rams shut down Perkins and play Hodges the entire game against the Broncos. That last game of the preseason is often used by teams to showcase talent before those players are cut. In this case, I expect Hodges to be sent packing. The Rams have shown they are erring on the side of caution. I don't know that Perkins steps onto the field unless Hodges can't go.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Calais was a promising kick returner. Now the Rams are almost compelled to sign a player off the waiver wire to reinforce the RB roomby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
What you are not seeing is the starters. I'm actually more optimistic than ever. The Rams are showing strong depth at DL, OLB, LB, DB, OL and WR. I'm not warm and fuzzy over QB depth, and think Jacob Harris will need time to develop at TE. Special teams coverage units seem pretty pathetic still.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I like Perkins, but he's not ready to start just yet. I counted five of 13 incompletions where the play was there, but he didn't place the ball into a catchable place. And these are not starting defenses just yet. Reason to be optimistic? Yes. But he's still a bit raw.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
There was no mistaking Chris Garrett's desire and potential in this one. The guy owned the Raiders offense in the first half for about 8 minutes.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I love what Perkins does with his legs I like what Perkins doe with some of his decisions But he needs to work on those passes. He targets the receiver with his eyes too quickly, giving DBs a head start. His throw to Harris 2 pointer was over his head, and he underthrew Atwell on a play that was intercepted (triple coverage no less). Kids young, and he'll get better. But he's not a finisby HornsUpRamily! - Game Time Forum

Tomorrow's Raiders game may have some bearing on the LA Rams RB roster. This article suggests that if the rushing offense lays another egg, that may prompt the team to look for and claim a bigger rusher off the waiver wire. May be correct conclusion "...It’s not really much of a secret that the LA Rams running back room is not exactly stuffed full of heavyweights. With the OL shifts, I wouldn't be shocked if the Rams carry 10 OL on the 53-man roster plus 1 or 2 on PSby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
LOLby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams won't trade for an offensive lineman with the final cuts coming in two weeks. I'm not sure that the coaching staff has a clue where to fix the OL yet. Trades won't happen until the coaching staff reaches the 'he's the problem.' consensus.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Even if Goff is tracking like Brees, it was clear that Brees and Sean Payton were well suited for one another. I think it's clear that Goff is still searching for his "Sean Payton".by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice! I love to see consecutive picks. Per that Tankathon projection, the LA Rams will pick at 209, 212, 213, and 214. That's 4 out of 6 consecutive picks. Of course, that means that the Rams will likely be trading there. But it would be nice to see who the Rams grab with those picks.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
100% agree. The Rams need some rushing to show up. Otherwise, it will become a (larger) concernby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that Allen is looking angrier this year. But two questions about Allen. (1) Will he be aware of his teammates' location? In 2019, he was caught on video pushing defenders, sometimes well after the action moved elsewhere, at and onto his offensive line teammates. He helped contribute to the injury of Joseph Noteboom. (2) He's better in pass protection. But can he help in the run gamby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com

Looks like the LA Rams merchandise is flying off the shelves this year. Go figureby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Curious article. But fan attendance is an odd 'loyalty' base. Do they simply count fans in the stands, or a % of occupied seats in the stands? Their article didn't make that clear for me.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Jones seems to be a player who plays harder with huge tackles and big hits. I believe he will gradually step up this year to earn playing time.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com

Nothing screams missed communication to me like the fact that Taylor Rapp is out there starting at safety. I know of two deep completions because Rapp, not Ramsey, blew the coverage. So in my mind, until video footage shows me otherwise, I will just blame this one on Rapp, not Ramsey.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice. Thanks for posting these.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
For a rushing offense, I think Joseph Noteboom is better at left guard than David Edwards, and I think Colman Shelton is the best run blocking center on the roster. So far, both are sitting on the bench. The Rams wanted to go bigger bodies for pass protection. I'm concerned that will come at the expense of the running game this year.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
One of the other seldom discussed parts of all of this is the impact that revenues have on the NFL salary cap. We can talk all that 'greedy owners' rhetoric that enflames the masses, but the NFL is not about that anymore. The NFL and NFLPA have a ratified Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) that has a specific mathematical formula for dolling out the dollars. Thanks to that new agreement, 4by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams rushing attack is not showing much so far. I'm thinking that may not only trigger claiming a RB at final cuts, but may mean OL shuffle one more time. Ideally, Noteboom at left guard and Shelton at center are the best interior run blockers on the team in my opinion.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
