I expect if the Rams running game doesn't spring to life soon, it could mean picking up both a running back and an offensive lineman off waivers.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah. I think Stafford will be a positive factor in McVay's offense.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Reports out of Rams training camp shared Matthew Stafford threw 3 interceptions, and the Rams running backs struggled a bit. Ramblin Fan is running a poll on fans impressions of that outcome: (1) Bad day at the office (2) Bad signs of things to come (3) Bad options (4) Bad optics I voted for just a bad day at the office. Looks like masks are now mandatory at SoFi Stadium for anyone, unless they are actively eating or drinking "...The official message on the official therams.com website reads as follows: "... “In alignment with a revised order issued today by the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health on outdoor mega-events (10,000 or more attendees), fans will be required to wear maskby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure if anyone places wagers on preseason games but I noticed that WynnBET's moneyline for the Rams 2nd preseason game is set. Raiders -310 Rams +240 That's less of a spread than the 6.5 point underdog Cowboys (+250) and just slightly more than the 5.5 point underdog Lions (+200) for this weekend. Looks like the bookies are hedging.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I was already rooting for Marlon Mack, as I like the guy. Now with Cam Akers suffering a similar injury, I'm cheering for him to make a full recovery.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Per the article, a lot of Rosen's struggles in the pocket resulted from a bad offensive line. but he's cheap, experienced, immobile, and he has NFC West experience. at just $850k, it's not exactly a high risk move.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay didn't have very kind words about the run game either. Look for that to get cleaned up against Raidersby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
This is the video feed. The article cites the O'Connell talking about uncertain if the team has enough talent at the running back position at 16:35by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I found this one pretty interesting "...By the time offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell got to the podium, he was also pretty open. In fact, he pretty much admitted to many of the observations we had made in our post-game assessment of the offense. Running backs didn’t get enough touches. Offensive drives stalled. O’Connell admitted that it’s too early to tell if the Rams have all ofby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Not sure if that line will change, as Rams will likely be playing 2nd stringers in this one as wellby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I think I read someplace that Rams waiving Max Roberts could be due to Justin Lawler showing up so well against the Chargersby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
I suspect that Justin Lawler's performance against the Chargers sealed the fate of Max Robertsby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Man, if this were the regular season, or even if starters were playing, I'd jump on this one... While George Silvanic didn't shock, I wouldn't be surprised if he isn't picked up elsewhereby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Derrick Moncrief was very good in the CFL. While he didn't get much traction with the Rams, he could return to the CFLby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
They are... Waived K Austin MacGinnis, LB Derrick Moncrief, OT Ryan Pope, DE Maximilian Roberts and DT George Silvanic. No surprises. Poor Ryan Pope just arrived. I don't think he had enough time to unpack his suitcase.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Need, or want? The Rams may not need another RB right now, but there are valid reasons for wanting one. Because the Rams draft late and sign undrafted players, there is a lingering tone of better talent ending up on other teams. I don't know if any what if...? scenario can do more than open up a long debate. I would not have minded the Rams adding a bigger-bodied power back, even as Caby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com

I was wondering if this play would get a feature. And yes, it did. Fun because I love to see players with the ball hurdle would-be tacklers. Yes, I know it's unsafe, but it's still fun to watch.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
Perkins certainly didn't flinch with the empty backfield offense look. And you know that had to get McVay smiling...by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
This was a bit unusual post-game wrap-up in that rather than reciting the score or stats from the game, this article featured players who did well after working very hard to earn a chance at the spotlight. I like the way Justin Lawler was presented. Of course, I like underdogs. It was something different, and I enjoyed the variety. Hopefully, some others who read it will too. I'm not so certain that it was the running backs. If you remove the running of mobile QB Bryce Perkins , nobody ran well because nobody blocked exceptionally well on runs. Hmm, let me restate. there was typically one or more offensive linemen who really didn't block well on running plays. I'd give the offensive line a chance to regroup and reset before I'd sound the alarm. Some guys blockby HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
The article talks about a couple of things that didn't do well in the game. Devlin 'Duck' Hodges was mentioned, but I'm not sure that I agree. His turnover happened on a play with no open receivers. I do agree that the offensive line didn't do a good job at run blocking, and that the defense had serious lapses at defending the run. The rumors about Brycen Hopkins seem to be true. Well now. I gotta apologize. I recall Cooper Kupp's name coming up in punt returns and my commenting that he was just there to shag 'em so the footballs didn't bounce all over the practice field. LOL, looks like I was wrong. Cooper Kupp is listed as the starting punt returner. Not sure how I feel about it, but happiness is not in the mix.by HornsUpRamily! - RamsFootballFans.com
