Quotestlrams13 I can't believe we don't have anything better than Webster Quick question would you rather have Nsimba Webster or Webster Popadopolis back there returning punts with George Popadoplis blocking for him.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadhead Ram He ain’t no Robert Bailey. I almost forgot about that 103 yd punt return. That was one of the best returns ever lol. They changed that rule now because of that play.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Hollins is playing well, I thought kenny young might be the guys to step up this year but he has been a major disappointment so far. I just never see Kenny around the ball or making plays where as Hollins has stood out.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Tavon "stutter step" was terrible in his final years I think he use to go to the movies before the game and get refills on the popcorn and then there was az hakim fumble against the saints I never forgave him for that one. Also pharaoh cooper fumble against falcons in the playoffs. Webster is a scrub and I'm sure we could do better though. Are best ever punt returner no doubt Todd Kincby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlrams13 All the guy does is win Enough with wanting to get rid of him Get over it I don't mean to piss in your cheerios but that stat is cherry picked. He was 0-7 as well as rookie but I know that doesn't count also he is 2-2 in playoffs with a qb rating of 73.6 when it counts the most. He has done a good job of leading these team to some very important wins. He has looked really baby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBerendsenRam I remember old Stone face himself HOF HC Bud Grant once said to his PRs if you touch the ball inside the 20 I will cut you on Monday. I yelled at the TV just before that happened to just let it go especially at that point in the game, as you can just run a few plays and drain the clock, even more and with Hecker boot it down there and make them earn every yard . QuoteJamesJM some sweeping change lasting for a while... I kind of doubt it. Back in the old days maybe. I would truly like to see AD come in at RB inside the 5, but I don't think that counts as a revamp. - JamesJM Teams went wildcat for awhile, patriots used hernandez as a rb, ravens have done multi back and qb sets, RPO's,saints bring in taysom hill and move him all around. the NFL evolby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamsDynasty Quotechico n da rams Some of it might be optics. They both have short legs. You saw that too? Hendy looked like a Oompa Loompa on that long TD run I thought the opposite he looked really fast to me. He pulled away and no one was gaining on him he seperated after that cutback.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff did some good things today no doubt. He looks really good when throwing the short to intermediate routes. He actually found the backs this week on checkdowns and that was the turning point of the game. His passes were crisp and catchable this week to the rbs. Cam akers absolutely blew that screen pass when he slipped he most likely would have scored on that play. His most impressiveby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator Would / could it work if the Rams, for example, went to some sorta wishbone option? I know Goff is not a runner but that's just an example. Simply.....Something TOTALLY away from the norm. Yes good coaches can change and adjust every game. Sometimes even in game like Patriots did on us in the Superbowl when offense was stagnant. That's what I think we are really missing from timeby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteno name Stafford? Dude. If he was your QB during the first five years you would hate him. If he was your QB this year you'd hate him. He was worse than Goff and IS worse than Goff. He had all sorts of weapons man. All sorts. I will say this about Stafford he has a hell of an arm and is as gutsy as they come some may say he has Brett Farve like tendencies no offense to Brett. But Staffby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com

If anything we could use him as a return man and deep threat. He avg. 37.3 yds a catch detroit in 2019. His career avg is like 21.1 that's pretty insane. I would definitely kick the tires on him.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I know higbee has been banged up but that game with philly he was huge. Started to think he was going to be a big part of the offense especially in the red zone. That's the problem Goff is at his best when he can spread the ball around. Mixing it up keeps the defense guessing and honest. I don't like the strategy we are using to let the defense dictate our offense. I want it the other waby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes kurt has good info and insight he is right Goff is a mid level good qb when he has a great team. I don't want to keep getting in this debate but Goff is serviceable game manager at times and complete dumpster fire at other times. All QBs have bad games I know but they also have a lot of really good games or sometimes just plays to win a game. The really good games and plays for Goff are not sby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLMU93 I think in this of all years expecting rookies to come in and just make a splash is unreasonable. For one, he came into this team with three established WRs in front of him. Two, no OTAs and a very abbreviated camp. Three, zero preseason which is where he'd get extended work. His playing time has been sporadic- 59 snaps over the first two games and only 7-8/game on average since. Hby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator He was ALWAYS open for the Gators! He made MANY clutch catches ! Did he break out for 60 yard bombs down the sideline? No. But he had good "get open" speed. QuoteRamsAl48 We need to get Van Jefferson more involved with the passing game....Goff needs to look for other receivers besides Kupp and Woods. Is Van not getting separation or is Goff just not looking for him. I wonder if John Wolford was the QB on most of Van's preseason big plays. QuoteSteve Goff, like Dave O'Brien from the Jets in the 1989s, is a thrower, and a great one. Give Goff the flyer, the possession guy and a good running game and good protection--and the Rams, with McVay, will be a playoff type of team. (Some one like Mark Sanchez, by the way, couldn't accomplish much with all that Goff has). Add in a great D, and they go to the superbowl...yep, without the loby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah that is what makes this year so frustrating is that we have the talent on both sides of the ball to make a superbowl run. The scary thing is how many times we have beat ourselves with mindless play thru a quarter, half, or entire game. I'm extremely harsh on this team because I feel that are letting games slip away and they are better than that. I called them soft because the offense is a fiby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
We have to have perfect weather to play well we are soft we just got are butt kicked twice by a more physical team and apparently it was to hot in miami. Your going to trust goff with a cold wet football get real. I love this team but I'm realistic this offense is finesse not physical are toughest runner is robert woods.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I would much rather win the west and get the highest seed possible the rams are a soft team and if we have to play in any type of weather we are screwed. That includes eagles, redskins,New York, green bay, seattle. We are built to play indoors and optimal weather for goff to have any chance of success.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteMalibuRam Speed, you are so blind with your hatred of Goff you can not see straight. Let's say I agree with you 100% that Goff is a below average QB. The point I'm was trying to make was the defense could not stop SF in the 4th quarter. Consecutive FG'S, with drives of 49 and 51 yards. 4th down and 1 could stop them. Even after Goff had to worst game in the history of the NFL the Raby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com

Understatement of the year. A healthy gurley was the driving cog in this teams success. I got fooled for a minute thinking goff may be the most important piece but it was a healthy Gurley. Mariota would be someone I could see having success under mcvay. I'm sure he could put up goff type numbers of 2019 and 2020 at the least because he did that his entire career so far. But at a third of the cost. This is all hypothetical as this isn't going to happen but for just for fun I see mariota as a good replacement.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
