QuoteRamgator The play deep in our territory when Goff went down instead of TRYING to make a play. Aikman analyzed it. Kupp was the only option but I saw a Safety just waiting to break. Goff was sacked but the clock kept running and WE still had the ball. With our D and a running game, Goff does not have to bite the bullet vs strong Ds nearly as much. Yes that was a play that he throws it up fby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBumRap He is looking like a star LB He was so bad last year its hard to judge him but yes he has played well this year and if he can continue we may have something.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteGroundPounder No shocker.....NE's offense is putrid. Your right it sucks And this NE team is not like years past. It still has a great coach though and we aren't going to be able to totally dominate teams like this every week. We can still use this formula to win games though. Play good d, commit to the run, mix up formations and personnel, minimize mistakes, and control time of possessionby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams_81 Rams Offense Last Night Did Have to do Much. Cam Newton looked helpless and the game was over after the 10-0 start so I get coasting into the win, but this is not going to work against better offensive teams just sitting on the lead. Newton needs to find a nice beach and remember what he once was years ago with a nice drink by his side. Look at the possessions last night aftby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Cheers brother I have to say this game was so very needed with our extensive history with the pats and then to get that win against Brady in primetime and make him look every bit of 43 was awesome. We play like this minimize mistakes eat clock sustain drives score td in zone we are going to go far.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills but a few days ago I asked either you or dz - what if McVay had purposely been holding back on his formations and run variations in anticipation of facing Belichick. Earlier in the year against Philly and Buffalo he had been running inside and with power blocking concepts. I asked openly where was that and why was he only running the outside zone. Then he comes out last nightby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Man I see the beauty in well executed football and that was last night. Was it a 100% perfect no but damn close. I don't know if I have ever seen Goff engineer a nearly 10 minute 16 play drive for 88 yds in his career. This is old school football and it wins games and keeps your D fresh. He basically gave the defense another halftime or quarter to rest. I see the beauty in things like convertingby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Kenny Young fits the mold and checks all the boxes needed in today's NFL for an OLB and we are finally seeing some of his potential. I have been really high on him since we traded for him but he hasn't really done anything until the last few weeks. This guy was a standout at UCLA so hopefully he can continue to play well.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Akers played extremely well his greatest asset today was his vision. He ran with power and burst but he hit the holes great no hesitation. He is not the burner type as he loses steam on long runs but to be honest not many backs can do that. He has more than adequate speed and more importantly he has great acceleration. Great coming out game for him but we need to see this effort more consistentlby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams It's essentially Everett versus Reynolds. And right now, Everett is the better player. You can run better out of this grouping and Everett is every bit the receiver Reynolds is. I think we'll continue to see heavy 12 personnel. I love 12 personnel and think we should use it especially when they bring everett in the I as full back or split him at H-back but I would like to see hiby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Those of you saying Goff didn't do anything special I get it. On paper this looks like a trent dilfer, stat line. To me this is the best he has looked since philly game. But this team today was probably the best we looked all year as a TEAM. We haven't beaten the Patriots in forever. We didn't see the confused Goff, the bumbling Goff, the inaccurate throws no where near wide open receivers, theby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotedzrams Quotenicecatchellard I think we are missing the point on this post Goff played how he needs to play for this team to dominate other teams. How many times did you hear aikman say this is a superbowl team and don't screw it up. QuoteSpeed_Kills I hear you and its not just about stats either especially not with me As I said he made a few plays for sure but in no way shape or form would my first post been about Goff.... the game so clearly was about Akers and the Rams defense Goff took a backset today... and that's ok too What he did not do is collapse I have been waiting for McVay to change up with his ruby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteSpeed_Kills I thought he was ok...definitely made a few plays... made a couple that went the other way but most importantly he did not collapse against the defense 16 of 25 137 yards 1td and 1int 75QB rating loved the pass to Kupp and the fact he got that defense to jump offsides on 4th down However, this was Cam Akers game... not sure why Goff is the first thing that came to your mby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadhead Ram Goff had a few good throws but didn’t do much after that. I know we aren't going to get 171 yds out of akers every week. But this is how we control games with Goff. He made countless plays tonight to move the chains and eat up clock. He had a lot of support this was a total team effort. But throwing only 25 times is what I want to see out of goff and keep the defense fresh.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotemoklerman Quotenicecatchellard He didn't have to make the big throw downfield took what was given and made the Patriots pay. This was a team ass whooping on the Patriots at all positions tonight. Played flawless on both sides of the ball cam akers completely balled out. Kenny young showed up and has been playing well as of late. Brockers filling up the stat sheet I think that neck roll wasby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
I like this formation and it worked pretty well tonight. I expect to see this more as the season moves along. Maybe with henderson of brown along with Akers.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com

Does anyone wear those anymore I miss those neck rolls it kind looks like brockers is sporting one today tucked inby nicecatchellard - Game Time Forum
Nice I think McVay may have heard me nice to see that on that 3rd and one with everett as FB.by nicecatchellard - Game Time Forum
For one game it would be ok like a color rush not for a primary. It gives of that highlighter vibe though and it gives it a seahawks look.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Let's just go throwbacks are these not an option anymore? That little experiment was fun and all and I'm sure it made millions and billions of dollars in apparel sales that I have seen absolutely nobody wearing. I'm still waiting for all these trendy young generations of kids wearing these new jerseys. I think we have more bigfoot sightings than people in this new merchandise they are selling.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
That touch pass by goff to higbee is something I haven't seen from Goff in awhile. Perfect placement and loft on that play. I noticed and commented on that also two weeks ago he threw a Terrible touch pass to henderson but it was a start nice to see he is getting it down now.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan nicecatchellard.... Happy with 9-7??? Where did that come from? Last time I checked the Rams are 8-4 and are on top of the NFC West. That's winning, correct? The 9-7 came from last year it's a winning record. I was just trying to show you that there has to be some context to that. I'm not happy with last year even though they won and apparently you weren't eitherby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 Good Goff, of course. But also the following ‘goods’: McVay OL Akers/Hendy TE’s WR’s Edge ILB CB S Gay Coverage teams This 4 game run is a helluva lot more than just the QB. I agree it's a team thing trust me on that we have breakdowns anywhere we are going to make it that much tougher on Goff, Donald, Ramsey, mcvay, etc.by nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan NFL Football Teams are very fluid with personnel and players. Players like Gurley, Cooks, Sullivan, Saffold are gone. A 100% healthy Gurley helps make ANY offense look and play better. No concussion Cooks can play as good as any WR in the NFL. Bottom line, the Rams are STILL WINNING...That's largely because we have a LEGIT NFL QB IN GOFF! He's not the fastest, notby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
Quoteoldschoolramfan My old college football coach always said, "Hey Pal, a win is a win." Goff just broke the Rams record! A win doesn't excuse you from criticism and improvement. If you play like dog @#$%& and win it means you got lucky not that your good. I will give Goff his credit when he is on and playing well he looks like a top 5 qb. We have been seeing more of the averageby nicecatchellard - RamsFootballFans.com
