I know higbee has been banged up but that game with philly he was huge. Started to think he was going to be a big part of the offense especially in the red zone.
That's the problem Goff is at
his best when he can spread the ball around. Mixing it up keeps the defense guessing and honest. I don't like the strategy we are using to let the defense dictate our offense.
I want it the other way around let our offense make the defense adjust. We play reactionary football on offense and it gets us out of are comfort zone.
Mcvay is so worried about finding the perfect play that it stifles the offense at times. When we just let it rip with our bread and butter plays and hurry up we usually look a lot better.
A perfectly executed play can work on just about any defense. We seem to check out and change some many plays at the line of scrimmage it gets you out of your rythm.
