No one has even suggested this. But Brady at home in an opener a non factor and Alex Smith out plays him again. Jared Goff puts up those numbers and he is a bust. BTW I may be biased because I rated Jared #1 long before I thought we would be in position to draft him. But I was also one of a few Ram Fans that actually never thought Alex Smith was a bust or a simple game manager when Iby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
With rebuttals. I HAVE LET A LOTNOF POST RIDE. I sometimes wiukdntype it all up then delete. Season starts Sunday. We will see. McVay is young and new and unorthodox. Martz disappointed me but he was probably hoping "I quit Norm" would get a shot. There arw so many agendas surfacing and a lot of zing/fresh take journalism these days that you have to just let it go. I douby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
It seems to be assumed that 2nd year QBs will match yr 1 and that yr1 wonders will continue but histoy affirms that you have to prove yourself beyond year 3 and that is pretty much a fact thru the league. Dax has to win and so does Wentz and btw they have to improve.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
This is a great point. I like the fact that he can move and a great fit for our offense. Perfect sleeper option and emergency QB skill set. His preseason showing also show he can do the same things in an NFL offense. Olsen knows his limitations. Great fitby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
That is good business you are talking about. That is professionalism That is focus Move forward.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
With Fans and Media hopping on these sort of things and if players and coaches know better it would be better if he corralled some of those types of empty references and begin defining the teams relevance according to his core principles and beliefs. What will this team be about and what comprises this team not focusing on what we could be or might be if we get the big guy back. The big guy Aby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
I like McVay but he does have to grow a pair. He needs not to try and be liked or seen as a players rep. He works for the organization and better quickly tame some of that enthusiasm and social media optimism " Rah Rah" AD. Just stay focused He needs to zero in on the team and focus on that and show some indifference to the medias distracting Donald crap. He is not here. Hby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
So I am not feeling sorry for him or team let the games begin this week and hoping we do not blink with him sitting at home.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
It's clear to me. Frustrating perhaps but we are defined by our choices. He will play for Rams and Rams will get most out of him one way or another. Not good business to try to short circuit Rams with 2 years on contract if you are not an elite QB. We saw Russell Wilson have to wait and he has a SB ring to his credit and multiple playoff wins. It is not going to play out in Donald's favorby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
The fact that the CBA locks in Donald and his peers. The Ram's will not be crippled. AD loses until Rams allow him to sign and play. You are acting like 2 years changes what Ram's owe and it doesn't. That is done. Rams do not have to do anything for 2 years. NO FRANCHICE TAGS AND THEY CAN USE TRANSITION TAG SO EITHER WAY THEY WIN in 2 years by that time we won't need him. QuoteCROMWELL21 He can show up week 11 and still accrue time. Do it again next year too until he is a free agent. Eat up salary cap in the off season then not play until week 11. And to trade him for pennies on the dollar is even worse. Donald is committed to Donald. His right I guess. My right to let it disgust me. Can honestly say I am not a fan of his. Now my disagreement hinges not oby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
As comes woith the game over time team won't care how many years left on his contract so I guess each side has to know thier limit. Personally I do not feel its smart on Donald's part to push the limits as he has done this offseason but that was his window. I do not feel Rams were smart allowing so much leiway and in my opinion they tipped their hand as to his importance to the teams marketingby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Here is where I disagree. Colts have not been all that fortunate no matter how good or what a no-brainer the Luck pick was. RG3 was a fantastic pick until RGinjuries took over. apparently had leg injury history. It onlyu matters in hindsight or when it actually matters but truth is Goff is not going to factor as an answer next week only a reference point if he plays poorly. Enjoy the misery. You made up your mind long before last week. Even a broken clock is right 2 times a day. I probably should have just ignored the post but it just brims with a lot of spite and nothing more. Just enjoy the season and hope you are wrong but somehow I don't expect you to admit if proven wrong.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
If you need us to guarantee his success what will that do once the season starts. Suck it up and have your own opinion. It's almost a joke to me how much attention this is getting like. OOOOOh the sky is falling. Hope we did not blow it with Goff. I watched start veteran QBs throw INTs, fumble and take sacks over the past 3 weeks and I only wonder are they wringing their hands over itby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Mannion LOL I just not as squeamish as you. We need Goff healthy. He will be fine. Still completed higher percentage. Trust me Rams want to shop Mannion. Sammy did not play Cooper did not play. With injuries Rams Re not going to have Jared throwing a lot. Havenstein got beat. I bet that change game plan script and Gurley did not play. Sure Davis will be starting ahead of him or Brown. Sammy Watkins is a superstar caliber game changer. Hard to put a price on that. The only risk is injuries but Jones has had similar injuries nobody will be able to trade for him any time soon. Finally we are acting like we have a OC wiz OC HC and a Franchise caliber talent at QB. Looks like we are in this to win something. I can't hardly complain. I mean there are several camps on the issue but Football IQ questions from most fans that have no clue what that means or how you translate that is just simply not going to prove much as Coaching, System and Personnel are just some of the more obvious questions to address. not going to debate it more than to say on this you are simply taking a position either in favor of Jeff or against VY either way you are not providing the info in a way that is relevant to the original post. Seemed to me that Jeff has not proven to be great with QBs or offense and more than that Jeff has not been a successful HC in nearly a decade. So VY may not be even considered great. Also its and integrity thing. If he is brought in to coach WR he has no obligation to be a spy. That is just not a factor at this point IMOby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
His suggestion of him being like a rookie is fair but also that he is better knowing that he has the same experience you listed and that his toughness is now unquestioned. Obviously it would be unfair to compare him to last years starters who are in their 2nd year of same offense.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
