I think we can agree McVay has been a visible leader of the team and offense. His focus has been to prove to team and fans alike that he can infuse hope and higher expectations from a team that won only 4 games last year. This team had disarray on offense with questionable talent at the skill positions. A demoralized Star Running back and a maligned and under prepared and coached rookie QB finisby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
This Rams team still needs to run through our offense. Every team is going to be formidable on defense and certainly geared to stop run and rush the QB We need to be more consistent and better in the Redzone We need to attach the field and be much more aggressive We are not very good when we second guess and get cute and try to be what we are not. We are not a juggernaut but we are nby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteLos Angeles Lenny If the Rams picked him fisher would still be the coach. Two years same system. Offensive QB HC Two years great offensive talent Its certain that would not be the case. Wentz is not all that accurate and that is a fact. Wentz holds the ball a lot and has has great protection to cover. When he does not he has struggled. I know we wish we could project and we likeby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Fans more accurately Identified the keys to our loss. Seattle is a better team but beatable. McVay has to do better than last week but that is all apart of growth. Jared has to grow also and be awarevof his star players and worknwith the coach to get them involved. Several of our key players should learn from this. I can be costly but also valuable loss early it is early enough to overby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com

Thats the good news. Both close with a shot to win but the loss was in the game planning and possibly decisions before the game started.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Like watching a boxer trying to slug with a mawler. It just kept me uneasy. Looked like we had our old coordinators back and Fisher was throttling the game plan. I think those are the areas where McVay needs to grow. He was a bit tight against Gruden a little last week against Dallas in a statement game and now against our perennial division champs. This was his worst effort of the 3 and yet wby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Sean McVay Not only is he task with grooming Goff but he has to figure out how to get the most out of Watkins. Would be a shame to waste half the season before he becomes a consistent factor. He also needs to let Goff turn it lose and not always the boundary stuff. They need to work out the inside out side right left shoulder stuff so we can stop seeing what could be catches fall to the sby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Its by scheme or by a lack of comprehension on his part. What I saw today was we threw to him when he was not open and ignored him when he was because the play had not priority to get him the ball. McVay will see it. We checked down to Brown and Watkins was open. The Chemistry is not there. The Tavon experiment needs to stop. One of the issues this offense has it is very specific and so the so called options are really more strategic ans less optional until the play breaks down. I get it we want the QB getting he ball out faster but at the same time we gotta push the ball to our key players and not having 1 or 2 options. Some of that has to be comfort level the coach has to have with Goff in situations. I think thby BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
a hair more than 6 inches and by now he should know how hot that pass has to be coming. No passes for Kupp on that drop or others. He is a WR his job is to catch the ball. I am not pissed with him but your post forces me to just put it out there as it was. He dropped the game winner. You wanna excuse him go ahead but this six inch stuff is just an excuse. but he will work on it I am sure and he has to know when to dive and when to run thru. Stop trying to be all hands and acrobatic and just go get the ball.by BumRap - RamsFootballFans.com
Hopefully lesson learned. Not sure what was going on with the personnel and scheme but clearly looked like we played way too tight and the end result was par for the effort. Trying to find new stars each week and sharing the love with guys like Cooper is not the answer. I see its impact. Throwing passes only away from coverage and or down low inside are certainly fundamental emphasis but against a champion you can't play not to lose. Goff needs to be able to challenge and give his playmakers a chance to excell. Some of the plays seem to be to same and sane and easier to defend the odds and player. Very choppy not very good 1st half. Hurts to have fumble from Gurley, muff from Tavon and another drop from Higbee McVay can out smart himself a bit with his play selection and scheme personnel usage. Everett? Watkins getting only a couple targets weekly is a big waste to me because it breaks continuity. May be Goff but I think some of that is McVay's schemingby BumRap - Game Time Forum

Gurley has lost confidence. Was taking on too much and forcing things. Fisher and staff were not help to him and now he has the correct mindset. Patience and is doing what he can do and looking great. The criticism of him by most has been what we saw. His ability is what we saw as a rookie. He is back on track. I don't care so much about QBR I do care that Goff is getting a taste of winning football. His skill set is well matched to the talent and coaching around him. soon everyone will breathe easier until they start expecting too much and that is why so many are late to the party. Mean very little to me. They pretend to help me understand the game and interpret what I see. They rely on facts as they support the thesis but the fact is they fall really short. Growing in experience and soak up all he can. His career predates even Cal and indicators of his character and drive bode well but what does that mean in a rating today? Very little.
