What a beast and the Rams can definitely use him at LB. I seriously doubt they're going to make a TE their top pick in the draft two years in a row.by 9er8er - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteBigGame81 I thought maybe LaFleur might get an interview someplace but probably not. One of the beauties of what McVay has put together for a staff at this point is there aren't any hot candidates that you'd expect leave in the near future. Wade is highly unlikely to get bites and people know McVay is the effective OC of the Rams, not LaFleur. I would bet this staff will be together forby 9er8er - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRams43 If the Rams lose vs the Falcons, it will NOT be because McVay rested 18 starters. I mean, that’s not only illogical, but it’s kinda silly. Logically, resting starters should enhance their readiness to face the Falcons. Win or lose, I’m giving McVay a pass on that decision. To begin with, McVay earned a "pass" from me long ago. This is all gravy, but that doesn'tby 9er8er - RamsFootballFans.com
The Rams got destroyed by the 49ers. It is supposed to be part of the sacrifice made to ensure winning on Saturday against a decidedly inferior opponent. We don't know what would have happened had he chosen a different strategy. We'll only know what the results are of the strategy he chose. And if his strategy yields a losing result, and I think that's unlikely at this point, then he'll be riby 9er8er - RamsFootballFans.com

The Panthers are a much worse match-up for the Rams defense that struggles against the run that includes the additional dimension of a QB that can run and make off schedule plays in the passing game. The Rams defense has done pretty well against the traditional pocket passing offenses they've faced this year. Plus, the Panthers D is more scary. 1. OU fools gold offense 2. Douche I'm glad the Rams FINALLY appear to have their guy. What you added was the definition of a "defenseless player" as it pertains to the rule. The Rams will beat the Falcons convincingly. And I think that would be the case had the starters played and the beat the 49ers yesterday too. It just so happened to all go right for McVay yesterday, sans the lousy showing of the Rams B unit. Given he doesn't plan to have surgery to repair it and will be a free agent, which usually means he'd have to pass a physical to sign a contract. Nobody knows what a catch is anymore. By what it appears to be from most no-catch rulings, it wasn't a catch. But I want to know how Thomas isn't as much of a "defenseless receiver" when that significant blow is delivered on him as he's trying to make a catch as Goodwin is when Countess' hits him? And don't think his WR's don't also know that. If Jimmy G doesn't know that, it doesn't bode well for his receivers going forward. Countess did nothing wrong on that play except what in the NFL these days has sometimes become a penalty, and that's for simply hitting too hard. Hence why I didn't like the pick in the 2nd round. Too much bust potential. But at the same time, since we knew he was really just a raw athlete that played against inferior competition in college, we also knew it was likely he would need time to develop. QuoteL.A.Rams The #3 seed is potentially valuable to the Rams only if they make it to the NFC Championship. In order to do that, they need to knock off one of the top two seeds. If that happens, there is probably close to a 50% chance they would host the NFC Championship. I don't care if the Rams and his agent wants to pad the deal with a bunch of non-guaranteed money. I just want the Rams to be sure not to commit too much guaranteed money to a player who has not earned it and for which they would likely regret doing so. Even though the Rams beat them in LA, Brees simply was not on that game. If he's on, which he usually is, they are the most complete team in the NFC I think. I've always been in the minority that liked him better than Jenkins and his style of play fits this (Wade's) defense like a glove in my opinion. As always, it comes down to not overpaying because some other team makes him a ridiculous offer, but hopefully he wants to stay and the Rams can make a fair enough offer that convinces him to stay.by 9er8er - RamsFootballFans.com
