QuoteSaguaro I've been playing a little game watching the playoffs. It's called "what if Goff had thrown that pass?" O my goodness, would there be some bellyaching!! Did you see Andrew Luck on Saturday? Passes were going everywhere, at the sidelines, in the dirt, at players ankles and knees. It was horrible. And this guy was red hot before. And everyone was saying "lookby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesstrams Just got back from the vet.. Saturday, while we were putting Gypsie's Rams jersey on, we felt a large lump on her chest, that has gotten bigger since Saturday.. Vet took a biopsy and said she'd never seen cells like that before EVER and is sending the biopsy to a pathologist.. She said, tho, it needs to be removed asap, so surgery is set for Wednesday morning.. Man..... Hopefullyby zn - Bucky's Pub
QuoteRams43 Here’s bayouram... The Saints defense have rarely been challenged in the run game all season. I am not suggesting that their run defense is not good, but it would be interesting to see what happens if they're challenged vs the run an entire game against a strong running team. Particularly a team that is dangerous passing the ball. After reviewing their box score for every game thisby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteWisconsinRam QuoteEternalHorns I'll say this: when we were losing games, I didn't want to come here and find what I thought I would find. Take that for what it's worth. This is me, exactly. QuoteSteve Littleton and Barron (210lbs) can not take on guards. Fowler has no upper body strength for his size/DE--soft mentally Peters is soft. It infects the whole team. Yes, they dominated Dallas. One game at a time. For that game, I rescind my fluffy statements You named 4 players and then said it "infects" the whole team . That doesn't happen. QuoteSpeed_Kills Eagles dont run well the run to keep you honest So many teams abandon the run when playing catch up with them and their secondary is not very good Dallas had the 5th ranked run defense.... run the ball!!! Our passing game success is directly tied to our ability to run the ball The signature of abandoning the run to play catch up is not a low ypc. It's a higher ypc butby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotesstrams Foles was making plays to win.. His receiver let him down.. I really would have like to have seen them score and see what happened from there... True he had some bad stretches of play from teh 2nd quarter to the 4th.. It should have had to get down to one play like that. Foles is just up and down, though mostly for him this was an up game.by zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRam_Ruler But I thunk Goff's struggles have been different than Foles' today. I think Goff's was more of an accuracy thing while Foles was simply too used to the deep shots "working out" for him. I was screaming my head off at some of them today. Quotechunkmeister The Chargers were #7....and they didn't have Bosa for 8 games. Saints were #14 Eagles were #23 Patriots were #21 Chiefs were #31 Whats suprising is that you would think that teams like the Chiefs and Patriots (who had good records) would not be facing much running plays with the other teams trying to get back into games. Quotedzrams My painting CJ as better than Gurley after 2 games was said a bit facetiously. I'm fairly certain that he's not better and that two games against two bad teams is not a reliable long term picture. . Yeah, no worries, I got that. Thanks everyone, it's appreciated. My daughter wrote a lovely tribute--and that was just before we drove to the vet. QuotePeoriaRa It may be totally half-baked. Or entirely wrong. But its my theory. I wonder if McVay and company have done deep analytics on game results and decided that good run defense isn't that important. That while the run may help extend drives, in the end it doesn't lead to greater scoring, especially since it is easier to defend the run down by the goal line, and that it is more impby zn - RamsFootballFans.com

Quotedzrams Quotewaterfield One of the reasons for the Rams record is that Gurley offers so much MORE to the Ram offense-and Goff himself-that his inability to contribute in the same form as before becomes a significant concern. Anderson can be defended but Gurley at 100 % is way too difficult to defend and that would add to Goff's success. If Gurley doesn't possess the same threat as before theby zn - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteMamaRAMa QuoteRams43 My biggest gripe about the Tavon situation was the danged extension. Not Tavon’s fault, I know. Who wouldn’t take such money, if offered? The original pick (and trade up to even get it) was one thing. Blown picks happen on every team. But to compound that error(s) by extending him? C’mon... QuoteLos Angeles Lenny I know the market dictated the price but Cousins is not worth the money or the amount of cap space he takes up. Remember there's no alternatives except this: (1) pay the same amount for a different qb which means finding one who is a free agent, (2) make do best you can without a starting caliber qb , or (3) start a rookie. QuoteCoy Bacon Depends on how big is big but yes, I would sign him to a contract worth of a high caliber QB. He's proven that he can play at a high level during the last two years.
