I hear what you are saying 43. Just trying to look at a deal that might work for both teams that might possible have a chance of working out. I would hate to give up the #1 especially since we are already without the #2 pick. I also recognize that it his highly probable that we will lose Safford, Suh, Joyner and Fowler which we must replace. If you add Brockers to that list and delete the 1by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder if Houston Tags Clowney if they would take Brockers and a 1st rounder for him? That would give us the perfect compliment to Donald.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Fowler seemed to fit in really well with the Rams and I would resign him if the is in the 8 Mil or so range. But he has not be a big performer and there is no way we should over pay for him. Even at 8 Mil we are projecting better performance than he has demonstrated in the pass. That makes me a little scared but they made the same judgement when Signing Woods and that paid off big time.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I love Clowney but he was hurt his first 2 years and disappointed. Still once he got healthy he was a beast and can play up or with his hand in the dirt. He is unreachable for the Rams as someone will over pay him. I agree with the comments that he is not in the Mack/Donald level but will get a similar contract. Still he is not that far form Mack who is the best comparison. I wish we could gby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks Dead I have been waiting for this. Not sure about the Saffold assumption. If he doesn't resign does it change your first rounder? Also I think there is a high probability of trading down int round 2 and picking up either a future 2nd ore an additional 3rd rounder. Seems like a lot of similar level of value late in round 1 and in round 2.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Suh underperformed and made 14Mil. If he signs elsewhere we will probably get a 3rd comp pick. Brockers can play his position. Would like to have Fowler and Safford back but realize that they may get killer offers elsewhere. See Joyner leaving. Barron possible cut but he did get healthy and is not that expensive so maybe he stays.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
A lot depends on Safford. If he is resigned I can see spending one of the 3rd rounders on the OL if there is value we could use another prospect. If Safford leaves I would see Noteboom taking his position and we will certainly need another good developmental prospect to backfill him. Free Agency will tell dictate what we do. If we lose Joyner, Fowler and Suh and cut Barron that leaves a lotby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Should have gone with Everett and Higbee with Reynolds on the bench.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Wow good read on why we didn't succeed on offense. Still I think our inability to adjust to this defense at half time is a major flaw that needs to be corrected. Everyone is complaining about the players and rightfully so but we did not do what was necessary to exploit this defense. All defenses have weaknesses but we did not seem to recognize what they were doing and where the weaknesses weby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Are these guys allowed to write while on drugs? Even if we were to make a change which is totally stupid he suggests we let him just walk. That would be as bad as the Lakers letting their best player from last year go when they had all the leverage. Snead is not that dump by a long shot.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Right on Roman Your thinking also gets a bit scrambled when the opposition is consistently getting penetration and you are continually getting hit. Even the great Peyton Manning had issues when they hit him early and often.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Polian Said The Pats started out stopping the run and ended stopping the run.....with 30 minutes to adjust, the Rams never did....which was amazing to me. To me this is one of the areas that McVay had got to improve upon. Perhaps he is so involved in calling the plays that he is not able to step back and take a critical look at how the defense stopping them and make adjustments to exploitby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree the Bears game is he model that NE followed to stop the offense. They were committed to stopping the run They got great pressure on Goff They took away the long pass We failed to adjust in game to both of those defenses. McVay/Goff need to figure this out for next year as we will see this again.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Thanks 43 What a terribly disappointing game. The offense was a total failure at each position group and coaching was an issue to. Total breakdown and we are all disappointed. But the future is bright and full of promise. Fell board members it may have been a terrible loss but it was a great season. Hats off to the players and the entire organization for a great season. Guys on the Board thank you for making this season even more fun. Time to decompress and then get ready for the Draft.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
McVay has to own part of it. Everyone is complaining about Gurley but he only got a few touches. Who decided not to play him? The offensive line played terrible. No holes in the running game and Goff was under pressure and getting hit all game long. Evey play we called was well covered that is the coach Failure to make adjustments Playing the game conservatively. The entireby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff was under terrible pressure and was getting clobbered all game long and as a result had a crap game. The offensive line couldn't protect the QB and couldn't open holes for the running game. No adjustments from McVay who was very conservative. Didn't see Everett until late in the game. The offense totally STB in every way possible. Defense played great until the very end Teby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Gosh what a great draft. Kupp is a star 3rd rounder JJ is a star 4th rounder Ebukam 4th rounder starter in 2nd season Everett 2nd Rounder rotational play who has made huge explosive plays Reynolds 4th Rounder starter now the Kupp is hurt Smart: 6th Rounder: Made team each of last 2 years. Kupp and JJ are already great players which all by itself would be considered a strong draft Eby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I have enjoyed winning and being in the playoffs. I much prefer that to rooting for a high draft pick. I also really like having a modern day offense and the type of players that are really good guys to root for. Yes I wil be disappointed if they lose tomorrow but it was still a great season and I will be optimistic for next year regardless of the outcome. We were in the desert for whatby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
It is amazing that as the Rams face this huge game that there is not a big concern about Goff. You get the feeling that the game will not be too big for him regardless of the outcome. Now that doesn’t mean we will win or even that Goff will have a great game. But whether he has a great game or a poor game it will not be because the game was too big for him. Goff needs a clean pocket and aby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
When I think about my all time favorte Rams Ike is right up there at the top of the list. He had great stats and played much of his career without Warner. He was in the Jerry Rice era for much of his career and had great all time stats that did not get passed over until after he retired. He had 2 seasons right in the middle of his prime where he was hampered by hamstring problems which hby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Anything that helps the Rams come in with a chip on their shoulder is good. Let everyone underestimate them it takes off some of the pressure while making them more determined.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Great insight into McVay. I always enjoy the analysis by Dan Orlovsky. He has a brilliant football mind and would make a great QB coach for us next year.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
When looking at who might have a big game against the Pat's I think Gurley has to rank near the top of the list. He is going to be focused on redeeming himself and if anyone can back it up it will be Gurley. He is after all a super star at his position. The other super star on the team is Donald and you just know that Pat's are going to throw everything at him trying to slow him down. Stiby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Gurley was most likely below 100% in the Saints game but the real issue is that he did not come out ready to play and played poorly. Gurley knows he did not show up with his best and he will be doing everything possible to erase his poor performance. I expect him to be ultra focused and determined to have a great game. Gurley is one of those guys with extraordinary talent, drive and inby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Heck I am nervous too but the Rams are in the big game against a really good team. I too wish I were more confident but I think we havre a great chance. Here are some of the things I think about when looking at this matchup. QB gotta give the advantage to Brady but Goff had just as good a season. Everyone thinks this is a huge advantage but I think Goff is up for the task. RB: Gurley isby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

I totally agree NRC played poorly and was behind in coverage all game long. He has put additional pressure on himself by running his mouth about Brady. Agree that NRC is a red flag for this game.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Agree Pats do a great job of managing the cap and acquiring talented players in various ways. If you look at the Cooks deal the paid a first rounder for him and got one back and to to use him for one season at a very low salary. Pats always seem to be willing to trade picks in the current draft for higher picks in a later draft. Pats are best in class in managing the cap and acquirinby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
You guys always deliver on the draft content and I am almost ready to start getting excited about this years draft. I seems that with 2 3rd round compensatory picks that we will have 3 picks where we will be able to draft quality defensive players which is what I would guess we would as that is where the value is in this draft. Now the off season prior to the draft may shake things up and wby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
