What's amazing bro ? Brendan Rice I think will be as criminally underrated as his father. How can you look at Jerry's kid and be like "Yeah, 4th round." as if his intangibles and fight weren't off the charts? If I knew I could get him at 100 I could build an entire draft around that. I think he'll get taken in the 2nd though by some team thinking the same way I am.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they're similar runners, Schrader is a bit bigger ... agreed. Schrader may have a little more lateral agility and power. But I can't measure against KWs vision because it's really about the best I've seen unless you're talking about the elite backs of the past. It's not that I don't trust KW to stay healthy, saying it like that is kind of a knock. I'd say more that his running style mby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
And again, we are off on maybe 2% of players. I couldn't pull it off ... I usually try to get one out after the Senior Bowl, but I got keyboard tied every time. First, I can't without trading down with that first pick. Next, there are too many guys close at WR and CB for me to do it without seeing times from the combine. I'm just stumped so I'm glad you put one up for me to gander atby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Echo here ... It's a rich class. We can pick one aspect we want or whole packages depending on where we draft. If a rookie in this class doesn't produce, it's 99% likely due to environment and lack of opportunity. Guys that would normally bid for top ten are bidding for first round ...by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
You know, I like him. I didn't know he was coming out (made an incorrect assumption) so I had to go back and watch him recently (It was the KST game so I had a lot to look at) and I see him fitting well with what we do ... reminds me of the other old Tex fella who went in the 3rd Jamaal Charles. I think you're looking at 4.55 40 but a better long and high jump. I think he's a betterby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

Him ^^ Went 14-2 and got fired for losing to the patriots. It was just wrong.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
So ... These are the guys. I don't need the price tag of Powers Johnson... we have good OGs ... Raym is a favorite later because I simply like his game. Van pran at 100 is a STEAL. Barton is trickier ... So is Puni. Good enough to play OT in college. But smart enough for OC. Is Barton THAT much better? Is he definitely better after a redshirt if we keep Shelton? The only trade up candidates should be gone top 10, maybe 12. Turner. The Penn state/notre Dame OT. Nabers/Odunze Drake Maye That's it. That's why I'm trading down and likely out of round 1. Value is top 100 after top 12. Not to say there aren't other too prospects ... we don't need a RT. No TE. To be honest we don't need an interior lineman. No. I can think of 20 other teams he'd be better for.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I'm leaning this way. I'm starting to think Brian Thomas is the guy. He's in an interesting place ... a top WR that was the #2 on his team who led the FBS in TDs. He improved technique during the year, obviously picking up subtleties from Nabers. Monster on fades. Changes red zone offense. I think he runs a 4.35 at 6-3 210. Hope he doesn't. Bring him in this year with no pby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Same. I think he was a steal and could be legitimately great. Not mincing words. I still want Isaac Rex in the 6th but that's normal depth. Also next year's class is going to be excellent so I'd wait.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Just noting, maybe even just for myself, what I'm looking for at the combine from each ... It should be noted that 3 cone and short shuttle are high priorities from our FO on prospects. So I won't mention that unless I really need to. Top 3 prospects won't change ... changes in the top 10 should be really minor. Javon Baker, UCF Need to see hands/Gauntlet and deep speed. What was written yet cannot be confirmed was that he was really really immature and basically was assigned a body guard to keep him out of trouble in social situations.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah it's dumb that OT and IL are considered the same, but as long as that's the case franchising an interior linemen is insane. Thing is we have a great design that we can apply. Sign him 5 years... do more back loading of the deal and guarantee the first half. Then if he is a perennial pro bowler it's still worth it 4 years down the line. If not? We cut him after 3. Unheralded right now because of where he played, and the terrible season they had, is Emani Bailey from TCU. He's slated in the 5th-6th range right now, but if he runs under 4.4 that could change. He's 5-9 208. He runs like Kyren ... shifty in the hole, good vision ... but a little extra gitty up. And, he gets to top speed very quickly. Rasheen Ali would be there too, but he tore his biceby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Is his personality. But that could be complete nonsense. That said, if he does slide, that would likely be the reason, and if so that's a no from me. Thinking like other teams, if I'm Harbaugh, I trade down picking up quality draft capital and draft Bowers in the early teens. The Saints might want to jump to grab a running mate for Olave.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Yeah I saw that mock, looked like he had Powers, Barton, and Frazier all going round 1 ... I can't see it. Just because CB and WR are so deep. Explosive playmakers at a high price tag position will go before them, it's just not a smart business decision "in this particular draft." How good is he? He's really good, but he's not head and shoulders above the next 3 at the position. Sby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

WR coach when Purdy was there, so he worked with Alan Lazard IIRC and a few others. Note ... Rocco Becht (Son of Anthony) was in learning mode there as a freshman this year so don't take their W/L record too seriously. Since68 Do you think the draft is deeper in CBs or edge? Definitely CB. I had issues with this class initially but the top end got some extra juice with T Arnold coming out and Quin Mitchell shooting up. Those fellas along with Dejean, Mckinstry, and Wiggins make for an interesting first round conversation. Then you have another 4-5 rounds of solid prospects with some interesting sleepers.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
