I don't know what was wrong with them, but they had playmakers at every level of the defense and simply could not stop anyone. I'm not saying they had multiple first rounders like Georgia or Michigan ... But they could not stop anyone. I'm curious to see how he tests ... he could have been the first safety off the board but he likely falls to the 3rd or 4th. Now, for anyone not familiby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

If I could have my perfect picks, I'd take pick 31 and 40 over 19 and 52. The meat is right in there. That said, given the way most drafts go, someone in there will slide to 52.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

For me I'm agreeing with the 5% because just one of the teams that are QB needy can ouck a gut like Harrison or a premium ot and survive. It would take all of Chi Wash Ne Atl Den Lv Minn Changing QBs. And with cousins and fields ... it seems at least 1 short.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
This crop is wicked talented. Never seen anything like it. Harrison Nabers Odunze All likely top 10. In any year each could be top 5. Thing is, I think they all fly. Troy Franklin too... If they all ran in the 4.3s I wouldn't be surprised. I think Thomas runs a 4.35 at 6-4 210. I'd bet Harrison runs a 4.45. If Harrison were to get a speed red flag it would be eaby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Just so my silence on Bowers is understood .. I heard he has behavioral personality issues ... could be wrong of course but that's why I haven't talked about that possibility much.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
So if you're looking at 5 QBs ... all but Penix coming off ... (and he legitimately could as well) ... We're looking at 3 elite WRs. 1 elite TE. 1 elite DT (Newton) 3 elite edges. 3 elite OTs 3 elite CBs (2 Bama boys and Mitchell) That's MY top 19. The powers that be have 1 more DT, one more OT, and Fautano in that section. Some have Brian Thomas Jr. Also. Given that, I'm gby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Only way we'd pass based on the show he put on (like, it was that good, like Aaron Donald level dominance) is if we totally solved that issue in FA And even then ... I can't imagine when all is said and done that he won't be top 10 value for me. Then I'd likely still draft him and have a pair to work with.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Right his name was not on the roster where I copied it so I blanked on him. All day fast and I have tape I need to watch on him against Boise. He only got beat a couple times and by the top route runners. Late second through 4th ...by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com

But I think Tanner Mclaughlin is going to turn heads from Arizona. But I'm looking at 6th rounders .. so maybe not.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I honestly like him okay, but it's going to be likely that I had Sam Howell higher than I will have Nix this year. Had howell around 25. Nix will be in the 40s in all likelihood. Really you're looking at Andy Dalton coming out.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Finishing up the final groups ... ILBs have the worst "quality to draft" ratio I think in the NFL. Absolute studs are often drafted in the 4th and we just need a solid #2 so that means 6th. Also, we get the least visuals on LBs so instead of saying DNP I'll say DNS because I might have just not seen him. Senior Bowl always gives me good analysis on DBs ... because I see if they holdby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Right ... Dipped means he made a managerial decision after showing that he was $ to not injure himself. Most 1st rounders showed up, then killed it, then stopped at some point. I don't mind this, not just because it's a smart personal decision, but because it gives more reps to players who need to show it more. T'Vondre Sweat was making guys look bad. Same with Quinyon Mitchell and Latu.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
If we did go that route, we'd have the trio of hardest to tackle WRs maybe ever.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I somehow got like 5 Rice games. Watched 3 ... JT Daniels played his last football before medically retiring. McCaffrey was really mostly unstoppable. With his size he's more likely a Kupp comp than McKonkey. Thrash was a high end transfer so he was adjusting, but he made a ton of plays early in the year and a few at the end. I wanted him to show a little more speed this week. I just have soby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
I think he's faster, but I get the comp. I also think he runs a better route tree. Issue is smaller hands and a few drops, but not too many. My thing with WRs after the catch that are as good as he is (and his fame was visible coming into the year) is that they will break one really long highlight filled run a game ... and that if it's 3rd down and goal and they are faced with two defenders frby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
So this is my trench warfare analysis. One on ones with the big boys are always a little tough to judge for me because it's about "controlled losing" usually ... also you see guys getting wide where you'd generally hit another lineman. Then there's the game ... and in this case the O line really could open holes in the running game mostly. Nonetheless, there was good talent on displaby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
First I want to say that at first the idea to allow juniors bugged me, but in the end it made it so there were no "dry" position groups. They only took juniors where there were gaps in talent. I cover the three practices for both squads, basically six hours of footage, and the whole game. Some players DNP, which I will denote, and some DIP (decide they've shown enough) which I willby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
End of 3rd seems like a good spot. My first mock of the season is soon and I was thinking of him at that spot. He wasn't the best DT, Tvondre Sweat didn't lose a rep. Sun Tzu and I have been saying it for a while also. Young QBs take patience ... they make mistakes ... I don't think mcvay has that in him. That said, the only way I can see it working is if we get an experienced college player (40 plus starts) who's older because of extra years ... The draft at Center has changed a ton since mid season ... I think there are now 3 guys who have switched position and are in consideration. The official (DJ) top 2 does not include Van Pran. And Graham Barton the OT seems likely to be ahead of him as well. This doesn't include the fact that I really like Raym and Limmer. Day 2 ... Just a note because I've never seen it before. I think Tez Walker dropped 75% of the passes today. I know it got in his head ... but I have to think he just lost a lot of money.by alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
Im gonna curve ball this answer because while there is only one freak IMO (Newton)... The thickness of talent for mid rounds is ... notable. Fiske is a mid round guy to me in that way. He's strong, nasty, got a great motor. Think kinda Kevin Wolf? But it's gonna be a fit thing because there are simply so many talented DTs that do totally different things and have different body typesby alyoshamucci - RamsFootballFans.com
There are a few complex systems in college ... and Ewers runs one of them. So ... He looks to be close to the top of kids going back ...
