First should come with the biggest reward. First and second aren't basically the same. You want that reward, you don't give games away. You stay focused. If you have the mindset that just getting in is good enough, you're not going to win anyway.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the team names and look of the USFL are all that the fans would really care about. Who actually owns the teams is probably of little interest to most. Of course, I'd love it if Trump was still around with the Generals. Just to liven things up.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Kind of surprised they're not bringing back the Invaders or the Express or anyone at all for CA. An 8 team, condensed league is probably fine for now and maybe they'll expand if things go well. I can see the reasoning behind bringing back the original franchises but will the nostalgia ultimately work for or against them? I mean, it's kind of cool and all but at the same time, we're talking aboby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
USFL UNVEILS TEAM CITIES, NICKNAMES AND LOGOS FOR 2022 DEBUT The new league's city affiliations, team nicknames and logos for all eight franchises were unveiled on "The Herd" on FS1 on Monday. Fans got their first look at the eight teams, which will be divided evenly into a North Division and a South Division. ...Stafford erasing the stigma that he has earned. This isn't a must-win game for the Rams or Stafford but if he steps up and plays well and beats the 49ers to TAKE the division, that's a feather in his cap and a small step in establishing a new persona of a guy who can win important games.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

I was just thinking of the one the other day when Bradford hit Amendola on an 80 yarder to win the game...except it got called back because of a penalty. Then the Rams wound up losing. Was that against SF?by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Would everyone QUIT saying it's speculation as if that answers anything? We are all speculating on what happened. That isn't a secret or mic slam observation. As far as Rapp, when a player is off by himself on the sideline and not being supported by a teammate or two, it doesn't usually mean that that player is right and everyone else is wrong. Just because he had the depth yardage wrong doesn't invalidate the theory. read it again---it is his thesis, that the depth was the reason for the Ramsey anger and next, we don't know it was even about alignment--with two TEs on that side it could have been who was to maby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotewaterfield "Honor, integrity, pride, etc. All what used to be admirable traits associated with masculinity." You mean women don't share those same traits? You might want to look around. We've come a long way the last 50 or so years.Nah, I'm not interested in viewing women as masculine. Not all changes are progress.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
Aren't you being a bit hypocritical? Being a "man" doesn't literally mean being a male. Why act like it was being used in a literal sense? You know it was being said colloquially. Honor, integrity, pride, etc. All what used to be admirable traits associated with masculinity. Now, attacked by people who have to insert feminism any chance they get. He wasn't talking tough, he was holding his team responsible. Instead of whining about his opponent running the score up on him, he held his team accountable. Which sadly stands out. He may or may not suck as a coach but at least he isn't making excuses.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

Again, this just seems like willful ignorance. Do you really need him to emphatically state that it's his opinion? The guy is throwing his theory out there and giving an example as to why. Neither Ramsey or Rapp are quoted so if one thinks it's anything other than a guess, then that's on them.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
While watching the red zone channel, I had assumed the Jets had this game in hand. I wasn't surprised that the Bucs came back and won but I didn't know, or care, about the details. But this sequence really brings into question a team's intentions and integrity. Up 24 to 20 with 2 minutes to go, the Jets have 4th and 2 near the goal line. Granted, it's tempting to go for the score and the winby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
I wonder about this sort of thing. Granted, a QB looks like a wizard when he does it and it works. But if you consistently look the opposite way before going the other way, I would imagine a defender is smart enough to anticipate it. At this point, I'd rather Stafford not fly blind for a while. Which isn't to say he should stare his receivers down but if he's getting into trouble by assumingby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteJimYoungblood53 Quotemoklerman Who cares if it's technically called heavy, strong, overload or whatever? Ramsey had a problem with how Rapp was lined up. The problem with that argument is that this still isn't an isolated incident. He has done the same type of thing in 4+ games this year. He has been the definition of inconsistent and that is what fans fear. Some holes can't be dug out of. Most of the time, against playoff caliber teams...especially in the playoffs, teams don't dig out of those holes. So, getting his act together...eventuallyby moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

Fair enough. With his debilitated thumb, I hope we can take advantage somehow. Or at least, don't get suckered. My instinct is we should challenge him to complete some passes and cheat up but that could be totally wrong.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com

I enjoy tradition but am not opposed to a different format. However, if one were to employ this type of thing I'd much rather they just go all the way and do away with conferences and divisions. I really don't see the usefulness of the division and conference facade when it comes to the playoffs. Set the playoff number of teams and then the best records play each other accordingly. Something I meant to point out and celebrate that I have not seen talked about is our last drive the seal the game. The story of course is that we drove down and scored a TD to take the lead. But something else that I think was pivotal was that in addition to the score, we burned most of the clock. Kind of an obscure source, but I generally enjoy listening to Martz. Even though this is all common knowledge, I still like hearing Martz tell it. Still wish Martz wasn't black balled out of the league. He should still be an OC somewhere.by moklerman - RamsFootballFans.com
There are times you tip your cap to the opposition but there are also times where you made the mistake. Throwing into triple coverage isn't the defense outplaying you, that's you making a poor decision. And, the pick 6, even if receivers were in the wrong area, you don't HAVE to throw the ball, especially when things have not gone according to plan.
