Something I meant to point out and celebrate that I have not seen talked about is our last drive the seal the game. The story of course is that we drove down and scored a TD to take the lead. But something else that I think was pivotal was that in addition to the score, we burned most of the clock. I can't say for sure that it was by design as much as a happy byproduct, but I still give them credit for clock management in addition to actually getting the score.
Not that scoring too quickly would have been a problem but I think it put Baltimore in a much tougher spot to get the ball back with less than a minute to go and no timeouts. Clock management isn't something that McVay is praised for all the time but he deserves it in this case. Well done, coach!
