Couldn't agree with your more, Speed. Darnold has athleticism, can make all the throws and is still very young. He simply has a horrific offensive line and extremely pedestrian receives (although Crowder is decent). Aaron Rodgers would struggle on the current Jets team! I believe Darnold would perform very well in McVay's system.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I also agree. In fact, I think Revis in his prime (pre ACL tear) possessed better coverage skills than Ramsey and he was also a superb tackler.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I, like most of you, almost blew a gasket when McVay ran the ball on 3rd down and settled for the late FG. Appeared like a TOTAL lack of confidence in Goff and as well as a lack of killer instinct. However, after watching how the rest of the game played out, it suddenly dawned on me..... McVay KNOWS HIS TEAM far better than any of us and he was supremely confident that his defense WOULD holby NJRam715 - Game Time Forum
My youngest son was born that morning, followed by one of the greatest games I've ever seen later than evening. Add it all up and it was the greatest day of my life!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, reminds me of back in the day when they had Patrick Surtain and Sam Madison. That was the best CB tandem in the league back in 02' or so. These guys aren't quite there yet, but they might be very, very soon.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteRamgator They know when a player has to hit the bricks. Exactly. Hoodie always gets rid of a player a year too early than a year too late (e.g. Mike Vrabel, Vince Wilfork, Wes Welker and many others) He has done this repeatedly in his 20 years in NE.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Quotestlramz The silver lining: I managed to avoid every single one of those games in person. That said, I got some doozies on my resume I was at the second game on the list (2008 at Meadowlands vs. Jets and Brett Favre). What people probably don't remember is that the Rams were losing 40-0 AT HALFTIME. I'm not sure if that is a NFL record for halftime deficit, but it has to be close.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
This one is easy. Jets vs Rams, November 2008. Walking through the concourse before the game with my then 13 year old son, some half-drunk young (early 20s) Jets fan sees me in my Rams jersey and yells, "Go f%$#$ yourself!" Saddest part is that I actually like the Jets (consider them my "AFC Team"). I was actually wearing a Jets cap along with my Kurt Warner jersey (I guess heby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteKillrazor Mix of highs and lows: 1986 vs Patriots. Jim Everett comes in mid game and sets the world on fire with 3 TDs. We finally had a real NFL QB again... but Patriots win the game on a Hail Mary as time expires....)))))))) Yup, this game will always be etched into my mind as a nightmare. Going to high school at the time and having to hear from multiple classmates how the Rams blew itby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I was a junior in college a UMass watching the game in the dorm lounge SURROUNDED by Pats Fans smh! When Fryar caught that ball in the corner off of a tip, the room exploded! I remember being so angry that I didn't even go down to the dining commons that evening to eat dinner!!! Remember, this was back before the Patriots had actually won anything and their fans were obnoxious even then. Canby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNJRam715 Jets have expressed specific interest in Fowler. They also have $105 Million in cap space. If they want to pay the freight, no way we can keep up. They plan to take a page out of the Colts playbook and spend whatever it takes to build a wall in front of what they believe to be their young franchise QB. Again...All that cap space...by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

Quoteden-the-coach QuoteCROMWELL21 I didn't agree with the PI as I thought it was mutual or offensive. This team and especially Peters plays better with him playing. The two series he was out they drove on us. He comes back in and not so much. Defense is lost without him, IMO, he is as important as Donald as the back end plays signicantly better and I sure hope they keep Talib and haveby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I could see the Jets throwing a ton of money at him. They have a huge need at RB and $100 million in cap space. A team like that might price us out of CJ's services.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
"In over his head" with a 24-8 regular season record since becoming head coach? Hmmmmmm.....by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Most impressive (and concerning) part of this interview is the final paragraph where he points out that apparently Gurley tips off when he's going to get the ball. If CJ sees it on tape, we have to assume the Cowboys do too. So I am grateful CJ spotted it and is working with Gurley to get it cleaned up.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Yes, EPIC is the perfect word to describe the tailgate and fellowship that day! I hope you guys have a safe trip out and a GLORIOUS trip back this weekend lol!! Enjoy!!!!!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Hey Albany! Thanks again for the GREAT tailgate at last year's Rams-Giants game. Just curious, will you be wearing your white #75 Deacon Jones jersey again for this game?!!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com

QuoteRams43 Let’s see... Goff is 24-8 under McVay, including back to back division championships (not seen since the GSOT days). Goff is still only 24 years old. Goff has improved as a QB every single year since high school. No reason to think he won’t continue to improve as a QB. Nary a whiff of off field issues of any kind. Respected team leader and voted a team captain. Goffby NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
If Goff went down Week 1 and we had Bradford at QB, Gurley would have about 100 catches on the season. Kupp, Woods and Cooks would all have about 10 each LOL!by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
I would have NO problem with this. Dude was in way over his head as a head coach - especially in the NYC market (his press conferences were akin to watching paint dry), but he really can coach up a defense. If Wade goes, Bowles should be our first target.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
My two oldest items are either the authentic Eric Dickerson Jersey I got in 1986 while in college (it's still in amazing shape since I've worn it probably less than 10 times in the past 20 years), or it's my LA Rams sideline jacket just like the one John Robinson used to wear.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Jets do this too at Met Life Stadium, but since it's the JETS, I guess air raid sirens make a bit more sense.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
Sheldon Richardson anyone? I know he's been plagued with injuries the last couple of years, but he's likely to be more productive than Suh at this point.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteDeadpool that has been touched on already by others and since I can't edit, I'll post it here. Everyone is talking about the OL and how poorly it played, but what no one (at least that I have read) has mentioned is that this is the same thing that happened last year late in the season as well. Esp. with Sully and Whit. 2 years in a row is the beginning of a trend, and a bad one at that.by NJRam715 - RamsFootballFans.com
