Let's see: Eagles lost an OT killer game on the road (a 7o minute slugfest) against a hated opponent on a kinda fluke TD, have to travel across the country again, have two or three RB's out for the year, a bunch of DB's out or wearing name tags to identify themselves, and the Rams are home and NEED this game to re-establish control and secure a BYE and no chance of going back to CHI or any cold places.
The Eagles still have a very good DL (and a good challenge for the reeling Rams OL) and Wentz is a still a really good QB and the Rams D is not perfect.
Should be very interesting, but the Rams need to win this game convincingly or they are in real trouble...
Gurley needs a 25-28 carries game, even if he is bottled up a bit like in the DET game...,
Captain Obvious stuff, just my opinion... they need a convincing win...
I`m not laying the 9.5 points with this team right now and I`m not seeing a convincing win in this game. Wentz is playing pretty well and they have Sproles back. I`ll take any kind of win in this game.
Sproles is exactly the type of player our D struggles against...Fast, shifty with great acceleration = huge yards against our lousy run D and LBs who can't tackle.
