Well he is not very nice to the opposition is he? Lets keep it that way. Be humble and polite to everyone but the opponent on the field. I think that works well for me.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Nice write up 43 The defense has me worried. Cousins did not get knocked out of his rhythm for most of the game. Lots of open receivers I am getting sicken by Ficken need big Z back. Offense is killer all over. Higbee gets dinged so Everett gets some time. I will trust the Son of Bum but he has some work to do. McVay with 10 day of planning...lets not over think things butby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff has really taken another step up this year. You can see him shuffle around in the pocket and avoid pressure. You can see him roll and throw accurately on the run. I remember the scouting reports that compared him to Joe Montana with how he moved in the pocket and could throw on the run. Of course he has a much bigger arm and is a much bigger man than Montana. We were totally terrible before Fisher came on board as coach. Fisher brought the team from totally terrible to bad and disappointing not quite to almost mediocre. Fisher is the wrong coach for a young team. He needs a team of Vets. Fisher is stubborn and the game has passed him by. If Fisher wasn't so stubborn you might convince a decent OC to come and work for him. Fisher didby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Well the last 2 weeks Goff has really blown apart the system QB comments. Last year the was some truth to the comments. I think that McVay went out of his way to simply things for Goff in such a way that would maximize his production. This year Goff is a different guy and has taken a big leap from last year where he was a pro bowl QB with 28 TD's. This year he is the man and there is no douby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think the way McVay handled the preseason will get a lot of attention this year. What won't be analyzed as much is what he did to get them ready. That is the secret sauce and is harder to replicate. I do think offense has gotten sharper each week and is just hitting stride so I think the preseason reps would have helped in the first 2 games but I agree that the benefit does not out weighby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I agree that this is a change from last year. I think the roles the receivers fill is more diverse for a few reasons. 1. Kupp is no longer a rookie 2. Kupp and Woods now are in their 2nd year in the system 3. Cooks is a much more polished receiver than Watkins and can handle and is built to play multiple WR roles 4. McVay is in his 2nd year as HC and ready to open things up. Itby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
JFM moves pretty darn well for a big guy. He looks like he is a keeper and will get some more reps.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Even after last year I felt good about Goff and that the Rams picked him. Which one was better? Wentz was more ready but we all knew that. Fact is both are great and I am so glad we traded all those draft picks to get Goff. Quote by Cooper Kupp: Jared’s an absolute playmaker with how he’s able to place the ball, how he’s able to slide in the pocket and make some of these throws. Calling Goff a system QB is a farce but it is a big compliment to McVay. Last year you could kind of understand it as he went from the scrap heap to the Pro Bowl. Last year he did pretty good but McVay really did a lot to get him to be successful. This year you can see that he has made another big leap up in being a big time franchise QB. 23 years old one of the top quarterbacks in the gaby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I thought he defense did a okay job. I did not see a dominate defense I way a good defense against a good offense and that is enough for us to win. They have a good line, good WR and a very good RB plus a HOF QB so you have to expect some points. All things considered the defense did a good job especially when you consider we lost both starting CB. I though with all the stars we haby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com

Where is the right line between aggressiveness and foolishness. The last kickoff we received should never have been returned. At that point we are playing a field position game and with out punter even if you don't gain a yard you would set them back to the 30. We didn't really need the upside of a low risk return at that point as it was not worth the downside risk. Now on the other retby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
Goff really got tarnishes for his poor rookie year. He was a system QB in a really bad system. He had terrible coaching that did little to help him succeed. He also was not ready and needed to learn how to be a pro style QB. McVay deserves a lot of credit for bring out the best and teaching Goff how to be a great QB. QuoteSpeed_Kills Nice!!! Higbee 3 targets two big time catches Malcolm Brown can play and is a very underrated football player I agree these are 2 hidden gems on this roster. I would also not that Higbee seems to be making some great blocks too. Brown just seems to be a complete back who can block and make a cut find a hole and gain positive yardage. Zero points in the last 6 quarters and they held Arizona behind the 50 for all but 1 series. This defense has been dominate and yet I don't think we are close to being as good as we can be. I think the pass rush can improve and the run defense can get better I think Arizona had an offense that is just terrible right now and a bad defense is not going to beat our defense. Steelers can just decide to screw him and he doesn't seem to understand that. If he doesn't play this year he value will drop on the open market He is going to lose money and he has all the risk. Seems like he could get a big payday which may be at risk in the future. Emotions getting in the way of intelligent decisions. I agree that McVay gets the most out of the talent he has. He also simplifies the complex with creative coaching and detailed planning and execution. His scheme helps guys get open but they still must run great routes to get open What makes this team so good is that we have great coaching and great players and they are all unselfish. Jo Jo came ready to play and proved that the regular season is not to be a stage. He fit right in and with good blocking made decisive cuts for big returns. I agree I was not that happy with the Woods signing but he has been great and seems to keep getting better. I am glad I was wrong as he is proving to be a true professional. He reminds me a bit of Torry Holt with good speed to go with great routes and hands.by David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
QuoteNorCalRamFan 23 years old, 25 NFL games. Not even close to approach ing his ceiling... I totally agree with you. Goff is really young and is already a top 10 QB. 43 I think it is pretty simple to understand but difficult to create. All you need is a great offensive coach a prodigy a once in a lifetime QB A young and up and coming QB, a franchise QB. I thought we played pretty good. Defense was a bit iffy in 1st half but held the Raiders to only 13 points and scored a TD. They did their job. Special Teams did okay too. 4/5 FG, both punts inside the 20. They did their job. Offense gained 385 yards and scored 26 points gosh that's not bad either. They did all this on the road with a hostile crowd. So a good road win but a wiby David Deacon - RamsFootballFans.com
I think they concentrated on his physical characteristics which are top flight. It may be early to call him a bust but he came from a small school and plays a position that is difficult to learn.
