we don't keep anything in our attic..

well , except for like 2 feet of insulation

all we have is like 18"x18" wooded access panel in the ceiling , right in front of the bassment door ,

you have to get a step ladder , then push the access panel up and out of the way , then crawl though that 18"x18 hole in the ceiling while balancing on top of a step ladder



luckily , we have a nice large basement
