both regular season and playoffs ?
here....
first we're broken in the school sizes / districts
most districts have like 7 schools each , their might be a couple disticts with 8 or 6 schools , depending on the over all number of schools per class
then .........
we play every school in our disctrict once , same schools every year , although , some district might change one school here or there , as there is always a couple schools that will move up or down each year , depending on school enrollment grades 9-12
but for most districts in the state , the schools same the same
when the regular season starts , you start out with 2 non-district schools , usually from the neighboring district , but neither of those games count when it comes to playoff seatings , so it doesn't matter if you start the season 2-0 or 0-2
it's only counts when you get into district play that the games count towards the playyoffs
although , some schools might play one of their non-district games against a school of a different class size , this is usually done because those 2 schools may be cross town rivals , or they may just have a long standing tradtion of playing each other over the years
but when you get into the playoffs , then you only play schools in your own class
