My wife is the most curious person on earth... she HAS to know everything occurring around her, including conversations she's not part of.. and that relates to your post in this way...
While talking to me her head is spinning like a top because she HAS to see, hear, and know, what's going on around her at all times.... so only a fraction of her comments are made while actually looking in my direction. BUT....
gotta be honest, even if she is is pointing in my direction I don't hear it all... and all that not strictly related to hearing problems. - JamesJM
