Lowes is HORRIBLE..

about deliveries and contractor work they contract out.. just totally unreliable..

We ordered carpet from them.. took 3 months to deliver it.. they set up THREE appointments to install it.. we had to empty both rooms before they got here.. We did.. they didn't show up.. they set up another appt, so we left everything out of both rooms for a week - they still didn't show up.. said they'd be there the next morning.. the next morning they never showed up..

I drove right to Lowes and demanded a refund - and got it.. they were PISSED because we had ordered a custom size in the carpet, which they were going to have to eat.. The manager kept saying, "but we have it right here!" ..and I replied, "but your stupid ass didn't come install it 3 times and we're DONE"

Went to a locally owned carpet sales place.. they got the carpet ordered and installed in two days...
