when it comes to pricing.. those are generally HUGE buildings that probably have massive utilities.. gotta heat and cool them.. taxes, salaries, plus I'm sure they have to pay somehow for the movies they show etc.. half the movies these days get 4 people watching them, so those are a bust.. i just don't see how they can keep things running on very limited money in.. I mean, popcorn etc is crazy high but I'm sure its not because the theater manager is paying for his private island.. its probably in order to keep the doors open - especially now that at least half the population doesn't support the theaters anymore..
Not, saying I agree with the high prices - more like I understand why they have to charge them.. I still don't see how they stayed open after over a year of being shut down by covid.. they still had to pay taxes and insurance and utilities and whatnot.. I actually kind of felt bad for them..
