As I posted Roxy truly seemed depressed... the first couple of days. Today she's acting fine with one big exception -
She's a lot more 'clinging' now... in need of attention/affection. She's actually tried to get into the house a couple of times and I cannot recall her ever trying to do that before Rocco passed.
Took her for a ride in my pickup yesterday... passenger seat although she doesn't seem to understand she needs to stay in the passenger seat instead of my lap blocking my view of the road. Also.. when we got home she didn't want to get out. So... I left a window down and went into the house. She was at our front doorstep an hour later.
It wasn't Roxy... what I mean is the occasionally barking fits in the middle of the night. So no more warnings about evil rodents roaming my yard... low flying owls... a discarded piece of paper blowing through... nights are passing without major incidents. - JamesJM
