Finally saw Elton John last night..

in Dallas.. I bought these tickets over two years ago and the show has been cancelled 3-4 times due to covid and him having hip surgery and then contracting covid a month or so ago....

Pretty good show.. the dude is a pure legend, so just cool being in the same building with him.. He only did 3 songs that I had never heard before, which isn't bad considering I don't own any of his stuff.. The one thing I came away with - which I've pretty much always thought - was that dude is in another dimension when it comes to being talented.. Just an amazing talent and it appears to come so easy to him..

I'm glad I got to see him, just because of who he is.. Same would go for Paul McCartney - another legend in a field where there will come a time that there are n more legends.. I really don't think there are any legends in the making right now..
