I've come to the conclusion that after the SB I'm going to get with a drummer and start preparing to record in a studio in Dallas.. Got the studio and engineer picked out.. Songs are written - just need to work in a drummer and get rolling.. I'll overdub bass lines, have a pianist who can add the keys.. Still unsure of the vocals and who will record them, but have two options.. and, no, one is not my former vocalist who abandoned me last year.. I would be happy to never speak with him again..
You mentioned some very cool, talented people on the board.. One I wanted to mind you of is Ungulate, who we lost several years ago.. VERY talented bass player and good friend - I miss him and wished he was here for this SB run..
Jimmy, one of these days you're gonna get a wild hair and hop on that bike and head back this way.. and this time no stinkin' hurricane will keep us from jamming like last time.. That will be w whole lotta fun, for sure...
