No, not at all. The air fryer I bought has a capacity of 7-qt. I would use it only for side dishes. The roast would def have to go in the oven to slow cook for a couple of hours at least. My assumption is that, if I follow standard meat prep (in this case, letting it sit at room temp a couple of hours prior to cooking) and then follow the printed cooking directions, it SHOULDN'T be a disaster.
