So, I'm in charge of the family Xmas dinner this year and have grown tired of the traditional turkey and/or ham for the main entree. Need to step my game up, you know?
So, I was in Costco yesterday when I spotted their standing rib roast which, I came to understand, is pretty popular. It caught my interest as it's already seasoned (half the battle for me). The problem is that I've never worked with this size of meat before. And at over $13 per lb, I literally can't afford to drop $180
just to screw up cooking it!Yes, there ARE cooking instructions on the package. But I don't think that it's as simple as that and I'd appreciate asking a couple of questions to someone who is familiar with it.
Thanks.
