As a matter of fact, I used it last night for the first time as a trial run to see if I wanted to serve a particular dish for the Xmas party. Looks like it will turn out fine for that.

That's what I want to do for the rib roast (i.e. do a test run). But it's way too much money for that. And there's literally no room in the fridge for two 13-lb "brontosaurus" slabs. It's gonna be a one-shot type of deal.
