for food products is very good. Not the best I can get but yes for the price.
Your last question is key... because no matter the quality of the product itself cooking is the main issue. Which brings up a personal experience, not a suggestion. I'm not a cook. I can make cereal and pancakes, that's about it. The two most idiot proof means of cooking I have found are smoking and air fryers... both make it extremely difficult to screw up.... maybe a little but I've never had anything close to disaster using either method.
