Oh I'm sure there are many who can navigate the labyrinth those streaming services call a 'search' but it's way beyond my expertise. Actually I don't even try anymore...
Usually I'll do an internet search for the type of movie that I want to watch... for example - "Best Murder Mystery Movies"... I don't really care much who rates them or their reviews but it gives me a list I can use to decide for myself... then when I find one of interest I follow up with another internet search like "Where can I stream the movie Psycho"... (just an example).
That gives me at least a hint in locating the movie... which may or not be still available but it's a start. But here's the thing:
I actually find that internet search movie pretty often on one of the big streaming services BUT... using the services own "Search" said movie almost NEVER comes up, no matter how specific you are in your search input.
As you know I'm quite fond of old classic movies... or actually just 'old' movies, no need to be a 'classic'. But try that... try choosing 'classic' as a search... you might as well type in "best taco ingredients' because the results will be every bit as relevant. Using "Old Classics" will give you movies about one month out of the movie theaters. And to save you some time "Very Old Classics" - "Very Very Very Old Classics"... "Ancient old vintage retro beyond living memory Classics" is no better. - JamesJM
