Wow, you really do put on few miles. Retired now I thought I was good about that but compared to you I'm an obsessive driver.
I put about 10,000 to 12,000 on my pickup per year... my wife a little more than that. But I live in the boonies, so that's really not much. Closest gas station is 7 miles from me... to take in a movie is an 80 miles round trip.
I did rent a car for my trip! Considering the better gas mileage with a rental, (instead of my pickup), I'll only be out an extra $200 for the 1,700 mile trip. I pick it up today... heaving for Arizona very early Monday morning. - JamesJM
