I can't see anything that looks amiss. If I knew what I was doing, I'd unscrew the plate under the ear cushion and take a look at the wiring but taking a look won't do me any good since I'd have no idea how to go about fixing it anyhow. I don't have a soddering iron and even if I did, I don't know how to use one. I'm much better at just flipping open my wallet.
Since I'm having trouble finding someplace around here that does headphone repair, I may have to bite the bullet and order some new ones. Sony has a more current model for $100 which is about what I paid for the last ones. I'm going to look around a bit more for a repair shop and if I can't find anything in the next hour or so (cause I'm impatient), I'm just going to order new headphones.
