I didn't mean it like that and I certainly understand that may be a difficult era for many and I apologize as I did not mean I was seeking that type of thing or that was a better time
I was thinking less crowded for one......My brother lived in Austin in the 70s and I lived in California in 80s.....things were far less crowded. Now everyday is a parking lot just to get to work and forget going to San Francisco or Napa or Tahoe....absolutely insane...takes forever to get there and when you are there the roads are congested and restaurants have 2 hour wait times. Those places will never be the same.
Housing prices.....Napa, starter homes start at a million, Bay area....completely unaffordable.....My parents bought a home in Lake Tahoe for under $200,000 now that house goes for $900,000 (I zillowed it). I feel for today's youth trying to buy a home....good luck!
The homeless....California is completely overrun by homeless populations. Now I feel for many of these people as many have addiction and mental health problems and need help and a place to live. Today I was in Chico....my favorite downtown park is now a homeless shantytown. Davis a wonderful, top 30 university (I went t there
) is another shantytown......dont get me started about San Diego......really sad as the general population cant enjoy parks. libraries or many free spaces as needles and drug addicts have taken over. Nothing is done to help the homeless or return the public parks to what they were intended for as CA politics wont touch that.
People driving.....when did the speed limit change to 90 plus....today driving to Chico and back saw at least 10 cars going well over 90...and half the drivers are seriously looking at their phones
Dont get me started about my Christmas tree and put out in my office and the crap I took for that......
