and I don't know what its called - drummer subs, or something? My drummer has one and it somehow puts a sub in his throne, so he feels every hit, but it doesn't add any volume to the stage.. I can't even tell he's using it.. But, he let me sit on it and hit a few drums and - wow - was it cool... Heck, live performance is MADE for trying new stuff out without previous experience with it.. Should go great...

Sorry to hear about your elbow.. it just sucks that stuff kind of quits working, or starts to hurt, for no reason, and it always gets chalked up to old age..
