Overrated or one that is popular that I don't like?
Prince's entire collection other than "Kiss" (and I prefer the Tom Jones version) I literally get nauseous listening to it. I understand that he's great and his music is great but I don't just dislike it, it makes me feel sick to my stomach.
I love the Sex Pistols but musically they're not just overrated... shockingly so for one of the great musicals statements. The Ramones might be a better example of a band that I like but
I do think Nirvana is to an extent overrated but I think but they are strong musically. Bieber is overrated. lol I think there is a clear distinction.
Anyway... my answer is the popular song from the Velvet Underground. Another nauseating musician... However unlike Prince, I don't see any talent worthy of note. Take a walk on the wild side... That is my vote for most overrated song ever and the band and their entire catalog is crap... They are the Andy Warhol of music.
