Even weeds won't grow in my front yard! Totally serious.. it just dirt, I do have about 50% yellow grass - dormant for the winter, but I also have a bunch of still green grass in winter.. WTH? But, about 50% dirt where NOTHING will grow.. I did get it to grow earlier, but it just crashed and burned even with daily watering..

Yeah, several neighbors have done that..

Yeah, I know watering is key with sod..

Here in Florida, it's VERY VERY hard to get grass to grow under a Live Oak.

Ramgator191January 23, 2021 09:16AM

  Yeah, that's the problem...

sstrams147January 23, 2021 09:27AM

In Florida and I KNOW in Texas, the big trade off is SHADE in the Summer.

Ramgator337January 23, 2021 09:47AM

  Still no sun here..

sstrams146January 25, 2021 05:36AM

Clay?? Try different types of Centipede seed.

Ramgator151January 25, 2021 08:09AM

  Just looked it up..

sstrams156January 25, 2021 08:20AM
