Also, go back to 12-13 Bowl games. From what I have seen, in the last 10-20 years, is less focus on Rivals and eeeeeeeverything is based around the National Championship. Bowl games USED to be fun to watch. It was better when a team HAD to have a winning record and HOPE they were invited. The quality of the bowls was MUCH better. The games were often packed. I cannot recall the last time the Gator Bowl was even 75% full.
Now....we have all the hype towards NC games that are usually boring as hell and over at MIDNIGHT on a work night???
I cannot put my finger on it exactly but NCAA started losing punch........IMO.......when the BCS stuff started. Playoffs have not helped.
Oh.... I miss Keith Jackson calling games too.
