They are actually TOO good.
So you don't like raisins, huh? Well... I guess I can overlook that flaw in your character, but only barely.
Here's my problem with food... I like it. And when I say 'like it' I mean nearly everything consumable. There are foods I don't like 'as much' but not really any that I actually 'dislike'... with one possible exception... buttermilk. That is, straight buttermilk, not buttermilk used in backing.. that's great. I won't puke if I drink it but I certainly don't like it... about once a year, or so, I'll attempt to 'like' it.... it's never worked. Like I said... if I pour a glass of buttermilk I CAN finish it, I will NOT enjoy it.
Some foods I don't 'dislike' but I wouldn't care if I never ate them again include: Sweet Pickles, Snickerdoodle or Sugar Cookies (I know, that admission is going to get me in deep trouble), hard Christmas candy.
Some foods I once DID dislike, some I even hated, but today I love them include: Tomatoes, Brussel Sprouts, Broccoli, Cauliflower.
I remember my Dad used to LOVE making Tomato and Mayo sandwiches... I couldn't even look, it would make me sick. Today? Probably my favorite snack.
