They were at the right age when we got them...

but yes, we got them young. Kylo wasn't like this when Luna was with us, not at all. very outgoing, energetic, typical cat... even though less active than luna. After Luna died it all changed overnight.

It's hard to explain.. when Ashton is here she remains very inactive BUT.. she doesn't seem 'depressed'... just quiet, and content. Completely different when Ashton is away.

The other 2 we got when Luna was alive as well... but we weren't intending to keep them. We were 'fostering' them. When Luna dies that changed... no way was my granddaughter giving them up after losing Luna. They are unaffected, and rowdy as hell... although not much younger than Kylo. Which brings up:

Chowder, (the ugly one laughing smiley ), has taken a liking to me. why do cats do that? Tend to go with those who least want to pamper them that is? laughing smiley WE moved the cat tree to the hallway entrance to our bedrooms to make room for Christmas decorations and now when I head to the hallway entrance Chowder will come like she was shot out of a cannon to leap onto the top perch of the tree so I can scratch her before continuing my journey to the bedroom. She's does that with no one else, even if they call her.

It IS amazing. I STILL can feel hurt over my cat, Maxine, who died in 1983.
