in 2016.. just the absolute worst thing I've ever gone through.. still grieving 4 years later.. every time a plane flies overhead (which here is about once an hour) we say, "there goes Lucie!" and "Land your plane, Lucie!"..

So, the met of this post was in reply to what you said about your computer monitor.. Before Lucie got sick, I took her to go pick up a pizza at Little Caesars.. we were in the drive-through line, when Lucie, who had already gone blind, crawled down by my feet by the pedals - we were in my truck, which is a standard.. I had it in neutral, while in line and Lucie managed to back herself up against the accelerator pedal, since my foot wasn't on it.. So she tried to back away harder and harder, which pushed the accelerator pedal toward the floor, causing the engine to almost redline.. I didn't realize what happened and noticed everyone was looking at me - because I was revving the engine to the redline, while in line at Little Caesars!

Carefully making sure I didn't bump it into gear, I picked Lucie off the pedal and placed her in the passenger seat.. she immediately started sticking her nose against the passenger window, creating what we call "nose art" on my passenger window..

5 years later, that "nose art" is still on my passenger window.. I will literally kill anyone who cleans that nose art off my window.. as a result, I don't even want to take the truck to get the oil changed, afraid someone will wipe the window.. So, I know what you're talking about...
