Right where it meets the keyboard on the left side, I can see a faint smudge where Colonel would lay RIGHT next to me and rub his mouth / whiskers on the edge of the computer. Waking up this morning, he was not at the foot of our bed and then, KNOWING, I was awake, come marching on our pillows by our heads. Just did the yard this morning and it felt so lonely out there. BEAUTIFUL cool, DRY day with not a cloud in the sky but it still seems dim.
UGHHHH!! The day after is ALWAYS the very worst for me, be it a person, pet that has been lost. Afterwards, it then gets better.....slowly.
I am also REALLY missing, right now, him standing by me on the couch, look at me, squint a bit and raise his head up, as if he was saying.. ' Sup?? I would always say ' Sup!!" to him and then he'd plop down next to my leg. I have posted on this board HUNDREDS of times with him here.
