Our elderly next door neighbor has a very sweet and fluffy cat named.....Lucie. Three days after we lost Bella, we told our neighbor about it in her driveway. As we were chatting Lucie walked up to Colonel, who was sitting in our driveway. They went nose to nose for a second or two. Lucie had never done that. It was as if she knew something was different. Yesterday, I told our neighbor about losing Colonel. As I walked back to our house, there was Lucie by the bush. She's stand offish but it was cool to simply see her there. About two hours later, she actually let me play with her....but NO pet or touch. I was dragging a twig across the grass and she had fun chasing it. Last night, it hit us... We had 3 full bags of Meow Mix and close to 40 cans of Fiskies and two tubs of cat litter (For hurricanes) We gave all of it to our neighbor for Lucie.
