Don't be too harsh on the appointment issues. They are still ranked No.1 for all cancer centers in the US. They have branches all over including one close by at Scripps in LaJolla. I've know three individuals who owe their life to the Houston facility including my next door neighbor. If I was diagnosed with metastatic cancer they would be my first contact. Every person I have referred said they had no issues as to appointments.
Their beginnings go back to 1941 when they were formed at the University of Texas.
