I have sent in FOUR appointment requests to UT Southwest and called once.. When I called, the operator put me on hold for 30 minutes then said she would only give the doctor I wanted the appointment with a message.. she would not patch me through to him.. So, 4 electronic appointment requests and one call in a week and a half and they have not returned ANY of my inquiries.. I find that totally unacceptable and irresponsible..
Follow up on Tuesday, we;ll see what THAT doctor says about getting a referral.. BUT.. the gastro doc in person after the procedure told me face to face to send him the UT Southwest doctor contact inf via the patient portal.. I TRIED several times to set up an account, but to set one up, you have to call his office to give you a temporary login and password, which I did.. It kept telling me the login was incorrect, even though I checked it numerous times.. So, I call the office again and the only thing they can do is reset the password, which she did. So, I try again and then I get a message stating its been too long and the whole thing had been cancelled by the system.. So I call back and the receptionist has no idea what's going on and tells me to call back Tuesday since they are closed Friday, the weekend, and Monday for the holiday.. Seriously WTF?
