Yeah-it started a little slow for me (2 episodes) then it exploded and I couldn't not watch it. Since you enjoyed the tv series try any one of the Bosch books by Connelly or maybe even google the interviews with Michael Connelly about his books and the resulting tv series. Good stuff.
