Only with the rowing machine at the gym.
However, I found the more I worked out on it. . . the faster time went (the exercise time/space continuum).. I remember when I first started. . . and naturally they have that damned time reading staring you in the face. . . I would shoot for say ten minutes. And then at a snails pace, I'd row for, let's say a minute. . . felt like five. And I'd say to myself. . "Crap, I'm just getting started." Then I'd go for what seemed to be another five minutes. .. look up. . and it was only 30 seconds.
But over time. . . What seemed to be five minutes actually was five minutes. Still, the best I can do is 25 minutes.
There actually came a time when something kicked in around the ten minute mark and I would suddenly feel exhilarated and raring to do more. I guess it's called a rowers high. The thing is, I'd have to temper that feeling because I still had a lifting session to go. . . and I didn't want to wear myself out early.
