You may be able to help me... the one application I have never really liked that comes with a MAC is iPhoto... or as it's called today "Photos".
I don't think more than 3 months go by in which I don't look into going to another photo application...and usually I look at Adobe... I think it's called 'Lightroom'? You know a lot about Adobe products... any experience with their photo libraries? I'm not concerned at ALL with editing photo's... I've got more photo editing applications than I'll ever need... it's the library, and the structure used so I can keyword, date, and most importantly FIND photo I'm looking for.
The reason I have not switched yet is probably obvious, to you anyway.... because of the way iPhoto stores photos you can't export them and keep the metadata you've added to your photos. And since I have a HUGE number of photos, starting from scratch and adding new metadata is NOT a task I want to take on. - JamesJM
