On the attention span: The studios know where the movie attendance come from. It's the younger crowds that spend the money and they are used to video games and quick action scenes. There are plenty of studies that show not only that the younger you are the less your attention span is but also that the attention span in general has lessened over the years. Which explains why we don't read books as much as we used to. Once again-thank you television.
