I had an RV once. Today I'm thinking 'travel trailer'... basically the same thing. But my use is more in line with your intention to take it to a Ram's game. In my case baseball tournaments, cheerleader tournaments, etc. Not 'camping', per se... ALTHOUGH, yes, I would take it camping because my family would insist on it... I will sleep outside.

"Fully Stocked", to me, is the main thing. I love tent camping but the loading and unloading are a pain... for family camping trips anyway. An RV, or travel trailer, I would THINK makes 'spontaeous' trips much easier, as you say... hence my interest. I'm wondering if better deals are available off season, for travel trailers, like wintertime?
